As the political wave continues to soar, Kenyan politicians are s campaigning for various seats in the government. The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader, Raila Odinga yesterday addressed his rallies in Shiatsala and Sabatia markets, Kakamega county.
Raila was accompanied by the leaders from Kakamega, Vihiga, Bungoma, Trans Nzoia, and Busia counties during his campaigns. During his campaigns, he promised to revolt against corruption in the Kenyan government.
The ODM party leader was accompanied by Suna MP Junet Mohammed, Ikolomani MP Bernard Shinali, Nominated Senator Naomi Shiyonga, Budalangi MP Raphel Wanjala, and other ODM members.
However, the Western Kenya leaders led by Governor of Kakamega Wycliffe Oparanya mandated Raila to assign a running mate from the region as a reward to the region.
Raila, who stands on his way to the 2022 presidential candidate, urged that he aims to create job opportunities for young citizens. ODM allies were sad with Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi's decision to leave Rail was a mistake and his bid for the presidential race should be ignored.
Remarkably, Raila affirmed that he will give Sh.6,000 to vulnerable families on monthly basis.
