Ministry of Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr. Fred Matiangi has continued to issued tough laws ahead of the much anticipated 2022 General Elections naming the kind of leaders he will deal with going forward.
According to a report via the Nation, the Ministry of Interior Cabinet Secretary has informed that they are keen on ensuring that there is peace in this nation revealing what will happen as from Next week.
CS Matiang'i has said that the state will as from the next week deploy a multi-agency team and whose purpose will be to map hate speech hotspots across the country.
The CS has warned Kenyans that they should not be incited by leaders and either should people allow leaders to cause divisions amongst citizens warning that they will deal with any leader who will be found doing such.
"The State will deploy a multi-agency team to map hate speech hotspots across Kenya starting next week, ahead of 2022 election," Ministry of Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr. Fred Matiangi has said.
This, not the first warning the Interior CS has given. Recently, Matiangi publicly informed that going forward in preparation for the next year's polls "the police will be very ruthless when it comes to those who interfere with others' freedoms...we will not hesitate or be intimidated by pressures or complaints from anybody. We will protect Kenya."
“To those who break the law, we will arrange a good meeting between you and the law. Any threats to the vision of Kenya should be met with the full force of law," he added.
