Against all odds, the daughter of Ghana’s first President of Ghana, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah will be contesting for the seat at Jomoro Constituency.
She is the formal Chairperson and leader of the Convention People Party ( CPP ) and was the MP for the Jomoro Constituency from 2009 to 2013
She subsequently decided to go back to contest the Jomoro seat and in a radio interview with Accra based Joy FM on Tuesday she said: "I am always in touch with my people and I will continue to go back and I believe we can do very good work for the people of Jomoro."
Surprisingly, she will not be contesting for Her father's party, 'Convention People Party ( CPP ).
Following a flyer she posted on her Facebook page, she will be contesting as an independent candidate for the Jomoro Constituency for the seat as an independent Parliamentary candidate.
