Sam George this afternoon stormed the studios of Asempa FM studios for an interview. Sam George has headlines for some days over his stance on the criminalization of homosexuality in the country. Sam George alongside some other MPs have drafted a bill to be given to Parliament for approval. According to Sam George the bill will even protect homosexuals from physical abuse so he does not understand why people are pouring emotions into the discussion.

Osei Bonsu, the host of ‘Ekosii Sen’ queried Sam George what he intends to do if he is barred from travelling abroad for his decision to present a bill to criminalize persons involved in LGBTQ+. According to Sam George during the Hearts Kotoko game he met the Australian High Commissioner who told him he will be denied a visa abroad.

“On what basis do they want to blacklist me? They should show it to me. I told him he can’t threaten him. I asked him if he knew of Nzulenzu or Mole National Park. I can visit those areas and chill. There are great places in Ghana I can go relax. You can’t threaten me with traveling. He should come to Prampram and receive fresh air while they pound Fufu or banku for him to see how Ghana is sweet” Sam George explained.

He added that he happy he is getting so much support from religious and tradition bodies. He noted that it is only fair that he stood for the right course than to stand aloof and have the Ghanaian culture polluted by Western culture.
