Throwback: Meet Jessica Cox, the World's Armless Pilot and Taekwondo Black-belt Holder.

The world isn't all sweet and dreams come through as most of us may want it but whatever we are faced with or may encounter, we must take pride in them and make the good from them. Let me introduce you to Jessica Cox.

Jessica Cox (born 1983 in Arizona) is the world's first licensed armless pilot and the American Taekwondo Association's first armless black belt. Owing to an unusual birth defect, she was born without arms.

Jessica Cox earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in communications from the University of Arizona in 2005.

Cox hasn't used prosthetic arms since she was eleven years old. She can drive an unmodified car with an unlimited license, type at 25 words per minute on a keyboard, pump gas, and put in and remove her contact lenses with her feet, as most people do with their hands.

In 2004, Jessica Cox became the first woman to fly in a single-engine aircraft, thanks to Wright Flight. Jessica received her pilot's license on October 10, 2008, after three years of preparation, and is certified to fly a light-sport aircraft up to 10,000 feet in altitude.

Cox is a motivational speaker who holds the Guinness World Record for being the first pilot to fly on their feet.

Where are you and what has life reduced you to, don't be perturbed, dearest. Take pride in it all, make the best of it and shine wherever you are.
