As the country heads to fresh General Elections in less than 2 years time, the Building Bridges Initiative(BBI) has continued to divide the country deeply.
On one side, president Uhuru Kenyatta, ODM party leader Raila Odinga and their political allies have continued to lobby for the report terming it as tool that will unite Kenyans and also bring about eternal economic prosperity in the country.
On the other hand, a section of political leaders lead by Deputy President William Ruto and his Tangatanga cronies are strongly opposed against BBI citing it as a scheme meant to benefit the political class through creating more political seats.
In the midst of these opinions, former judiciary registrar Gladys Boss Shollei has let the cat out of the bag by alleging that uhuru's main intention of coming up with the BBI was to cause the delay of the 2022 General Elections so as to exetend his stay in office. Shollei however argued that Uhuru's plan has since failed due to lack of strong advisers who would help him maneuver though his plan.
