The Ekiti State Police on Tuesday arrested 27-year-old Tela Odetunde before a magistrate court in Ado-Ekiti.

When the children arrived at his house he closed the door and threatened to kill them with a knife when they shouted. He destroyed them one by one but his neighbor grabbed him while he was doing.

The offense is in violation of section 2 of the Ekiti State Gender Discrimination Act of 2019.

Ikebuilo appealed to the court to remand the offender at the correctional facility before receiving a recommendation from the prosecutor's office.

The court did not hear the plea of ​​the accused.
