Mr Wike accused the minister of reneging on his pledge to contribute to the road construction.

The Rivers governor revealed that there was an agreement between his government, the NDDC, and the Niger Delta Affairs on how to contribute to the construction.

However, is this a sign of fresh crises as Governor Wike threatens to block Akpabio from using roads he constructed?

I think that Wike's recent statement on blocking Senator Godswill Akpabio from using roads he constructed is a sign of a fresh crises that is looming. Firstly, Governor Wike is wrong to threaten Senator Akpabio from using roads he constructed because his threat might lead to heated arguments between them.

Governor Wike should have approached Senator Akpabio and told him about the pledge he failed to redeem for the construction of roads in Rivers State instead of issuing out a threat.

Lastly, Senator Godswill Akpabio (Minister of Niger Delta Affairs) is capable of redeeming any pledge he made and Wike should stop issuing out threat that could lead to crises.
