Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo Awards Schorlarship To A 27 Years Old Physically Challenged Artist

Vice President of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo has offered to help gifted physically challenged artist, Abosede Okeowo. 

Abosede Okeowo who hails from Otun Ekiti in Ekiti state, South West region of Nigeria had earlier on presented a pencil portrait of the vice President to him during a courtesy visit to the Ooni of Ile Ife in 2020.

According to the technical Assistant to the Vice President on New media, Mrs Maria Ude Uwachi, she stated on her verified facebook page that the vice President has offered her a United States of America online scholarship to horn her arts skills. 

The Vice President, who was ably represented by Special Adviser on Political Matters to the President, Babafemi Ojudu gave the 27 years old physically challenged artist a special wheelchair, laptop and schorlarship in Hyper-Realistic Portrait course.

Abosede Okeowo, suffered an illness which resulted in her current state of health. She is known for making drawings of dignitaries and influential personalities in Nigeria which has brought her to limelight. 

May God almighty continue to bless Vice President Yemi Osinbajo for his philanthropic gestures towards the needy and the less-privileged in the society.
