A worried Kenyan has today called out for help from Boniface Mwangi in what is seen as laxity of a top government owned business.
Allan Njeru, narrated that residents at 'Mlango Kubwa' area, Mathare are suffering after experiencing a blackout for the past two weeks, which is interfering with their daily hustles. He pleaded with Boniface to intervene so that power can be restored in their area.
Allan, however, never stated the reason behind the 2 weeks blackout. Moreover, there is a logical assumption that the residents in Mlango Kubwa area had reached out to KPLC for help, but recieved none, before contacting Boniface.
This tweet, has clearly shown how KPLC are relaxed and enjoying their monopoly power. Currently, the power supplier is faced with system failure problems, costing them a huge fortune and reduced customer confidence. Check out comments of other Kenyans below on this issue.
Is it the right time for another company to indulge in the distribution of power in the country so as to improve on KPLC's efficiency? Comment below.
