'Black Panther' star Chadwick Boseman dies at 43

Actor Chadwick Boseman, who brought the move "Black Panther" to life with his charming potency and superb performance, has died.

Boseman has struggled colon cancer since 2016 and died at home with his family and wife by his side, according to a statement posted on his Twitter account.

He graduated from Howard University in Washington DC

"It is with profound sadness that we mourn the loss of alumnus Chadwick Boseman who passed away this evening. His unbelievable talent will forever be memorialized through his personalities and through his own personal journey from student to superhero! Rest in Power, Chadwick!" University President Wayne A. I. Frederick said in a statement.

Boseman died at his home in the Los Angeles area with his wife and family by his side, his press agent Nicki Fioravante told The Associated Press.

The shocking news of Boseman’s death vibrated around social media, with industry leaders, celebrities and fans paying tribute to the young man who touched so many lives.
