Former Orlando Pirates head coach Joseph Zinnbauer has been named the new boss of Lokomotive Moscow, the three-time champions of Russia. The 52-year-old, who was born in Germany, left the Orlando Pirates before the start of the previous campaign. With Orlando Pirates, he won the MTN 8 after defeating Bloemfontein Celtic in the championship match.
The team issued a statement to welcome Zinnbauer and noted that the coach has a successful track record with young players.
Orlando Pirates haven't won a title since Zinnbauer left, despite making it all the way to the CAF Confederations Cup final where they faced RS Berkane of Morocco.

Mandla Ncikazi will continue to serve as an assistant coach on the bench since Fadlu Davis has already left the team.
