Nigerian Soldier Arrested For Blasting Chief Of Army Staff


A Nigerian gallant Soldier by name Lance Corporal Martins, was arrested for making a video insulting the Nigeria Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai.

Lance corporal Martin's was arrested in Sokoto at early hours of today June 24 after making the video blasting the Chief of Army Staff.

According to newsmen, he was picked up by senior military officers, who said, "we are acting based on an order from above."

His wife stated to newsmen that, "he had been transported to the Federal Capital Territory."

She further disclosed that, "In the 12-minute video, he expressed his anger at the security chiefs especially Buratai, and Chief of Defence Staff, General Abayomi Gabriel Olonisakin for not being committed to end the incessant killings of Nigerians.'

In the video, he said Soldiers need better weapons and ammunition to fight Boko Haram and other terrorist groups in the country.

Finally, he concluded his video by explore that, "I may be arrested and probably killed but I'm ready to sacrifice myself for the country."
