A primary school in Baringo county has come to a end unceremoniously. This is after the school administration send letters to parents on friday, June 24th notifying them that the school will not reopen and continue it's studies as usual come second term of 2022.
In a report which was posted on Facebook by Tuko news, Sacho Primary school headteacher, Victor Kibet said the school has been struggling financially and for the last several years, it has not been able to support its operations.
Surprisingly, Baringo Senator, Gideon Moi had commissioned a boarding wing in the school and encouraged parents to invest in their children for a better future. However, financial burdens have been trailing the school, something which led to the closure.
The headteacher, Mr. Kibet assured parents that the 2022 KCPE candidates will be assisted to sit for their examination in the school right from the sitting rehearsal day to the end of the actual examination. But the rest of the learners are advised to seek studies from other schools.
