Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a condition characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, speech and nonverbal communication. It is a developmental disability and it is lifelong because it has no cure. But it can be managed.

Can a person have the two conditions? Yes, very possible. Over the years, there has been increase in diagnosis of people having both conditions. It is referred to as 'dual diagnosis'.
