Mamelodi Sundowns co-coaches Manqoba Mqhithi and Rhulani Mokoena have yet done it again in the Dstv Premiership as they awarded coach of the month awards for both October and November.

The duo is currently working with Steve Khomphela who joined after the departure of Pitso Mosimane and have been a pain in the neck for other coaches in the 2021/2022 season as they remain undefeated.

A splendid start in the league for the coaches along with Sundowns as they are leading with 10 points and 20 goal difference and have conceded six goals in the league having played 14 games.

Having managed to remain unbeaten in the league and further away with points and look to be running for the league title as they have been ruthless to other teams.

They are MTN8 2021/2022 champions after they stunned Cape Town City Football Club which saw their captain Dennis Onyango splendid in the penalties making saves.

As they have been dominant in the Dstv Premiership and also on the right path in Caf Champions League they are looking to swipe every competition in their way.

Sundowns coach Mqhithi thanked the tactical team and also players for the impression they have been doing at the club.

The players give their best, the technical team supports all that we are trying to do, and they help us in achieving whatever that we want to achieve.

“So I just want to say it’s a collective effort. And we are very thankful that we are having a group of people like this, who are supporting us to make sure that at the end of the day, we win these awards.

“But all these awards belong to the team, not to us.” said coach Mqgithi.

Sundowns next fixture will be against their rivals SuperSport United Football Club who became the first team to break their wall after having had a good streak without conceding the league.
