Former Chiefs player retires at 31

The South African football universe will remembered how once you a time a Zimbabwean international attacker Knowledge Musona graced the locket room off the once was mighty Kaizer Chiefs, the now 31 year old Musona has suddenly announced his retirement from international football. Thesr are news that won't be well received by the Zimbabwean football lovers as they had such a great administration for their national hero. When speaking to the media Musona revealed that this is not a decision he took lightly after he represented his country for more than 12 years.

On hi social media post the 31 year old have his gratitude for the experiences he had ever since representing the national team, this was indeed a rewarding and great experience journey for Musona ever since he has been part of the smtean since 2010. Ever since representing Zimbabwe Musona managed to score a total of 28 international goals out of the 49 appearances made for the country.

Knowledge Musona is currently in the books of a Saudi Arabian based side Al Tai, in the Saudi Professional League, and so far he was featured for a total of 20 league games and scored 5 goals in total. According to the player the reasons for his retirement is mainly influenced by the fact that he wants to focus on his club career in the Saudi Arabia, and he believes that this is the right time to give other Zimbabwean youngsters an opportunity I rise to thr occasion. Musona will now join Khama Billiat who also recently rreettured from international football.
