Wiper Party candidate Agnes Kavindu defeated United democratic alliance Party candidate Ngelenge Muthama to be declared the new senator elect of Machakos county in a fiercely contested byelection.
The byelections were being held after the unexpected demise of former area senator Boniface Kabaka who died unexpectedly at Nairobi hospital few months ago.
And now, after UDA Party associated with deputy president William Ruto was badly floored, Bungoma County senator Moses Masika Wetang'ula has come out to breaks his silence and clearly chest thumb after the results were announced by the independent electoral and boundaries Commission.
In a message on social media, Wetang'ula declared that the alliance between him, Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, ANC Party boss Musalia Mudavadi and KANU chairman Gideon Moi was unstoppable.
He says the alliance that has been christened in some quarters as the sacred alliance will be a serious threat in 2022.
"On my behalf and on behalf of the Lion party Ford Kenya, I congratulate mama Agnes Kavindu Muthama for the landslide victory in the machakos senatorial byelection. Our collabo and joint campaign is evidently unstoppable. 2022 tunaicheki!," he said.
