The recent occurrences in Ghana with respect to Covid19 pandemic, “dumsor”, galamsey and just to mention but a few have sparked massive stir, debates and arguments across all social media platforms concerning the performance of the incumbent government and the President, Nana Akuffo-Addo during its second term in office.

Due to this alarming issue, most Ghanaians alongside prominent politicians and other stakeholders have taken upon themselves to share their immense concerns as each had their respective opinions on the issues.

With respect to this, one of the popularly known Ghanaian politician who unexpectedly lost the presidential race as a flag bearer against the two giant parties, NPP and NDC has also taken the opportunity to share his opinions on the recent government’s performance in running the country.

The leader and founder of UPP, Mr Akwasi Addai Odike whilst speaking on Kumasi based “Oyerepa” Fm 100.7 today, Wednesday, April 28 expressed his disappointment in the incumbent President whilst revealing why he thinks Ghanaians shouldn’t have voted for Nana Akuffo-Addo.

“Nana Akuffo-Addo has failed Ghanaians...He hasn’t fulfilled his promises since he was sworn in as President even in his second term”, Mr Odike stated.

According to Odike, President Akuffo Addo has failed Ghanaians as Nana Addo made lots of promises during his second term meanwhile he hadn’t fulfilled them.

Mr Odike also revealed that, the President promised Ghanaians to solve dumsor which he had made it worse considering the recent unexpected power outages across the various regions in the country.

The founder and leader of UPP also took the opportunity to address the recent galamsey incident that has destroyed our water bodies as he claimed Nana Akuffo Addo promised Ghanaians to put a stop to the practice of illegal mining which he hadn’t also fulfilled that promise.

In addition, Mr Odike addressed the issue of unpaid allowances for trainee nurses and midwives as he strongly urged the government to pay these trainee Nurses and Midwives and not to cancel their allowances.

In conclusion, the popularly known politician urged Ghanaians to make the right choice come 2024 as he claimed the NDC was the only party to rescue Ghanaians.

He then urged Ghanaians to also make the right choice for the abandoned Saglemi housing project by the incumbent government to be made useful than a waste of money.
