As the transfer window gets closer to reopening, many Football clubs across the world are in the spree of chasing new signings. Arsenal isn't left out because, the Club is currently making waves and would do better with more Wingers. Hence, the reported chase of Joelson Fernandes, who's fondly addressed "next Cristiano Ronaldo."
According to A Bola, a Portuguese Sports media and Sun Sports, Arsenal is set to meet Joelson Fernandes of Sporting Lisbon for contract talks. It was reported that the player would be signed at the sum of £41m.
The reason behind being addressed "next Ronaldo" is because he broke Cristiano Ronaldo's record as the youngest player to ever represent Sporting Lisbon. Going by this, much is expected of this 17 year-old Young winger.
A Bola and Sun Sports also reported that Joelson Fernandes is on the watchful eyes of Barcelona and Juventus. His agent, Kia Joorabchian was the source behind Arsenal signing David Luiz and Cedric Soares.
A quick review of next Ronaldo's performances has it that he holds the record of scoring five goals for his club, Sporting Lisbon with two assists.
