It is now beyond reasonable doubt that the most solid political duo in Kenyan political history the UhuRuto has fallen away after deputy president William Ruto's guards are kicked out of president Uhuru Kenyatta's team. For a long period now, presidential guards have been operating as a team shared between the two and their families.
In what has now been seen as a final blow to the deputy president Ruto and his Tangatanga allies, the guards of the second in command in the republic have been kicked out of the president's camp.
The duo which was the most formidable in the period preceding the 2013 and 2017 general elections has fallen out sharply, with allies throwing words and blames at each other.
Uhuru's Kieleweke group has been accusing Ruto's Tangatanga for focusing on political matters rather than development projects, claims that have been rubbished by the Tangatanga affiliates.
Ruto declared his intentions of running for the presidency in 2022, in what analysts claimed angered the president who saw Mr Ruto's plan as an act of sabotage.
The office of the deputy president which is yet to reply will be expected to reply to the matter.
