Outcome of APC NEC meeting today: Giadom says there is no victor and no vanquished

The acting national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Victor Giadom has said on his twitter page about an hour ago that the NEC meeting of the APC ended well as there is no victor and no vanquished. The acting national chairman stated that the togetherness and cohesion of their great party had always being their prayers.

According to Chief Giadom, "my take on the outcome of today's APC NEC meeting. I had earlier said that the collective decision of the entire NEC will prevail in today's meeting. I do promise to stand by any decision decided." He said that the APC NEC meeting adopted all the recommendations by President Buhari, and appointed the governor of Yobe State Mallam Mai Buni, as caretake national chairman, while Senator John Akpanudoede was designated caretaker national secretary.

Earlier in the day, he had tweeted before the meeting started that the meeting was convened to look at the ongoing crisis within the APC and find lasting solutions to them.
