As it stands, one more suspect has been arrested for the murder of the #FixTheCountry member Ibrahim Mohammed, better known as Macho Kaaka around Ejura in the Ashanti Region. The number of people arrested now stands at three. According to the report, the suspect is a relative of the deceased. The suspect, 48-year-old Iddrisu Mohammed, was arrested at his home in Ejura today, Tuesday, June 30.
The Ashanti Regional Police have picked up two persons, Ibrahim Isaka and Fuseini Alhassan.On June 28, police received intelligence leading to both arrests. Known both locally and nationally for his views on issues, Ibrahim Muhammed used his Facebook account to draw attention to the challenges in his locality and to demand change from the government. Family members say that he had received threats over his activism before the attack. Unknown assailants reportedly beat him to a pulp outside his house in the middle of the night.
