Revealed: Why Governor Joho Didn't Attend Raila's Taita Taveta Tour

The race towards twenty twenty two has officially began with politicians embarking on political tours across the country. Raila Odinga has been on the move lately latest being Busia and Taita Taveta counties channeling the approval of BBI citing it's benefits to Kenyans at grassroot level.

The former Prime Minister was received with chants and jubilations in Taita Taveta as thousands of heads gathered to give him an ear accompanied by the area governor Granton Samboja, Junet Mohammed and other coastal leaders. He assured that coastal region will benefit abundantly from the Building Bridges Initiative interms of financial allocation.

However Mombasa governor Hassan Joho was not in attendance. According to his latest tweet, he was held up with other important activities. He presided over the swearing in of the newly formed Mombasa County Investment Corporation Board whose role will be improving the investment climate and coordinating a multi sectoral investment strategy.
