Meru County Governor Kiraitu Murungi has pleaded with relevant stakeholders to ensure that President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto should be the first to undergo the covid-19 vaccine. Nevertheless, he pointed out that Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe and his team should follow the vaccination followed by governors and senators. Kiraitu is certain that Kenyans are in fear of the vaccine and leaders should restore their faith and confidence in being the first to be vaccinated. This comes after a news dispatch from State House promised Kenyans that the first batch of the vaccine would arrive during the first week of March.
