Member of Parliament for Sotik Constituency Hon Dominic Koskei has taken to social media fee charges of the Covid-19 vaccines both within and outside Kenya.
In his post, Bomet legislator has raised matters of concern saying that unscrupulous methods of raising money by selling the Covid-19 vaccines have been noticed.
The MP claimed that a number of private companies have recommended Russian Sputnik vaccine through practical and eleborate advertisement.
The lawmaker has posed a big question why the parallel vaccination exercise is carried out in Kenya.

While comparing how the vaccine is charged by private companies, Koskei said that in other countries, the jab is sold at Kes 2,000 whereas it goes with about Kes 7,700 in Kenya.
Hon Koskei's statement has come after the Government of Kenya through Health Cabinet Secretary Muthahi Kagwe warned of distribution and administration of the Covid-19 vaccine by private individuals.
Over couple of days ago, there have been reports of selling, distribution and adminstration of the vaccines and this has led to government to step in and ban the private deals.
