Santaco and Cosatu battling over Government’s decision

The Minister of Transport Fikile Mbalula will have to rejoice over what is happening between taxi associations when it comes to the decision that the Government made when it comes to Loading 100% .

Santaco has slammed Cosatu saying that their threats to strike should not just be about striking as Santaco is much focussing on also saving or securing jobs for themselves or the taxi industry.

The Labour Union Cosatu has threatened to go on strike if the Government does not reverse its decision to allow taxis to operate at 100% during this time.

it seems like things are looking out very well for Fikile Mbalula as he will see this support coming from Santaco and the way it is handling the situation instead of calling on strikes.

The trade union federation has said that a full taxi load mainly puts passengers’s lives at risk at this time where there is the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Cosatu is threatening to go on strike over the decision and it has no support from Santaco.
