He cites Israel's success in as far as the country is concerned about safeguarding the livelihoods of her citizens. Seemingly, Khalwale is advising the president to emulate Israel's approach that has seen at least half of her population receiving the vaccine.
Israel, according to Hon. Boni Khalwale, Israel has given a green light for the citizens to stop wearing masks, after daily infections dropped greatly from 10,000 to 200 positive cases within a 24 hour timely.
“President Uhuru (@StateHouseKenya) must prioritize vaccination against Covid-19. With more than half of Israel's population vaccinated,
~authorities have allowed their people to drop use of masks
~daily infection rates have dropped from 10,000 to 200
~there are no lockdowns,” Boni Khalwale [Click here]
Kenyans on twitter have since responded to his post, with each giving a different reaction. Some wants Kenyan Universities to produce their own Covid-19 vaccine, as a way of proof that Kenya has the potential.
One Kenyan, opined that, Kenya’s problem was far beyond getting over, citing reasons of the President’s involvement and concentration in the Loan lending eg. IMF loans. Here are some of their reactions.
