According to one trainer who has worked with her, the singer-songwriter has shed 100 pounds after adopting a new diet and more strenuous workout routine.
Adele recently celebrated her 33rd birthday, or "thirty free," as she puts it. She's been living her best life for a long time, but her fans have observed a shift in her in recent years. She appears to be in good spirits, and she's apparently made healthy lifestyle choices that have resulted in weight loss.
It's worth mentioning that Adele has never spoken publicly about her weight loss, and that is entirely her choice. However, it's only natural to have concerns about such a significant change.
Adele started making headlines with her weight loss at the end of 2019.
Again, Adele hasn't ~actually~ talked about her weight loss, but she has shared photos that show the changes. She first made headlines at Drake's birthday party in October, per Page Six, and on a photo of her presumably at the shindig, she said: "I used to cry but now I sweat.
Adele got fans talking again with a Christmas photo of her posing with someone dressed as the Grinch, with fans calling her an "inspiration." One wrote: "You're gorgeous now and you were gorgeous before!!!"
A 19-year-old admirer claimed People in January 2020 that she had a brief discussion with Adele at a restaurant. "She claimed to have shed around 100 pounds and described it as a "super great experience," according to the fan. “She appeared to be in such good spirits, and she looked stunning. She exuded self-assurance.”
Then, in May 2020, for her 32nd birthday, Adele shared a more dramatic shot to thank her fans for their love and well wishes, as well as first responders and other vital workers "for ensuring our safety
Adele appeared on SNL in October 2020, and fans were quick to notice the singer's weight loss.
She joked about it in her opening monologue as well. "I know I look really, really different since you last saw me," Adele said. "But actually, because of all the Covid restrictions…I had to travel light and I could only bring half of me, and this is the half I chose."
Adele has lost a lot of weight thanks to a new nutrition plan.
According to Camila Goodis, a personal trainer and Pilates instructor, Adele's weight loss is due to a thorough revamp of her daily diet, not hours spent in the gym. During a training session with Adele's friend and former X-Factor judge Adya Field, Goodis met the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter. While Adele is not currently a client of Goodis', the trainer believes that a change in Adele's diet, which included removing processed foods, sugar, and soda, is responsible for "90 percent" of her weight loss.
