Every relationship has its ups and downs. People who cannot handle the stress of a relationship may choose to remain alone in order to avoid it. It's also common for people to hunt for a spouse and get married.
Although many people wish to find a life partner and get married, they often confront obstacles in their lives that prevent them from achieving their goals.
A 40-year-old woman who had been alone for seven years shared her tale on social media and received a lot of attention. She penned:
"A decade ago, I turned forty. Since 2014, I've been a lone wolf in the dating world. I'm not a drinker, a smoker, or a parent. I'm single because I have no idea what I'm looking for in a partner."
Many others empathized with Ger because she was being honest about her shortcomings, including her inability to know what she wants. People who have no idea what they desire often have a difficult time making decisions. They'll alter their views a few times till the other person gets fed up with it and moves on..
A major indication of her typical human nature was the fact that she stated that she did not drink or smoke, two of the most common red flags.
Many individuals, though, reassured her that being 40 and single was not a bad thing. Finding a partner and making a home don't happen at the same time for everyone. Some people take longer than others to learn new things. It's impossible to know when you'll die.
"You may rely on my support. If you're 40 and have no idea what you want in a relationship, that's fine. As we become older, our priorities shift, and this can be a little confusing to those around us." Posted a tweet from a specified account.
Wishing her the best of luck in her search for a long-term partner.
