Chelsea's first match in the Premier League is going to be against Everton, and it is a big chance for Tuchel to test his rejuvenated squad against the club's former coach, Frank Lampard.
Results from opening games are always valuable to top sides, and Chelsea is also expected to claim all points against the Toffees.
However, Chelsea appears to have the team that can sink Everton but looking at recent results, not all of the Blues' attacking players are in top form. Because of that, the three attackers mentioned below should be benched by Thomas Tuchel against Everton.
Tuchel hoped to rely on Havertz concerning the central-striking role, but success has seemingly not been achieved with using the attacker as a false number 9.
Everton seems to have worked on their back line, so to avoid a goal drought in the match, Sterling should be pushed to the position.
2. Timo Werner
Werner is also among the forwards that should be placed on the bench during the Everton game. Much has not been seen from the German forward, and there have been reports about him wanting to leave. Considering these instabilities, Christian Pulisic should be picked for the right-wing role.
3. Mason Mount
Being a player that Lampard raised and coached, Mason Mount would likely be stopped easily or too predictable in the League encounter. As Ziyech is also around to replace him perfectly, the English attacker should also be benched when the Blues face Everton.
