Yesterday, the famous Rift valley regional commissioner George Natembeya resigned as he announced his interest in Transnzoia County gubernatorial seat.
According to Natembeya he saw it best to resign early as he gets into votes hunting around the county.
The biggest question was how was going to replace the vibrant Regional commissioner, today in the morning the president has announced a major reshuffle.
Natembeya's position has been taken up by Makueni couty RC Mohammed Ahmed Maalim who has now been moved to Rift valley.
Several other leaders have been transfer to different positions around the country.
The president will be forced to go back to the drawing board again as several more government officials are expected to resign and seek political posts.
Amongst them are Peter Keter, Ababu Namwamba, Fred segar, Patrik Ntuta, Cas John, Simon Cherangai, Lawrence Karanja, Ukur Yattani, Hamadi Boga, just to mention but a few.
All leaders seeking political positions are expected to leave office in the next two weeks.
