The August 9th general election is fast approaching and all eyes await the presidential race to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta who will be retiring after two terms.

Lots of strategic meetings between leaders eyeing elective positions are taking place to set the pace for the August 9th general election which is only 77 days away.

Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has been holding a series of meetings at Bomas of Kenya with Presidential candidates.

A man has today, Monday 23rd May 2022, interrupted IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati's speech at Bomas of Kenya prompting his arrest.

A man identified as Julius Kamau has been arrested at Bomas of Kenya for creating disturbance during a meeting between IEBC officials and Presidential candidates.

Julius jumped to the podium in shouts while accusing politicians of lying to Kenyans during their campaigns and failing to deliver their promises to Kenyans when elected.
