Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has on many occasions shown interest in keeping the French midfielder Paul Pogba at Old Trafford as he hunts his first title as the club head coach.
Pogba is believed to be a crucial member of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's squad and based on his performance in the Euro competition, fans were convinced that he needs to sign a new contract. However, the 29-year-old star is on a verge of leaving United as Juventus under Massimiliano Allegri is ready to resign him this summer.
Allegri is a big fan of Pogba and he wants to be reunited with his star and he has told Juventus to speed up and get their star back before the transfer window closes. Juventus are yet to get his replacement since he left the club in 2016 and Allegri feel Pogba return will be a big boost for the Italian side who struggled last season failing to win the Seria A title.
It has been revealed Manchester United board don't want to make Paul Pogba a club highest earner as he doesn't deserve that and they could listen to offers this summer. Reports claims there is no positive step on the new contract negotiation and for the Old Trafford side, they fear losing him free next summer.
However, a big worry for Manchester United is that they aren't sure if they can get his replacement on the transfer market and Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camvinga is being targeted as a possible replacement at this time.
