This week, various government officials will be out of their offices touring the country for firsthand information on the status of various government's projects and activities.

Today, my brother the Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Hon. Samuel Abu Jinapor and I joined Minister for Water and Sanitation, Hon Cecilia Abena Dapaah on an inspection tour of the country’s water bodies as government steps up efforts to protect our water resources from the effects of galamsey.

Day 1 of our tour took us to the Sekyere Hemang water treatment plant which supplies water to large parts of the Central Region before heading to examine the Daboase water treatment plant that supplies water to parts of the Western and Central Region.

It's a collective responsibility. Each playing an honest part, we will win.
