Ghana is working again as minister for information, Hon Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, minister for lands and natural resources, Hon Samuel Abu Jinapor, and minister for water and sanitation, Hon Cecilia Abena Dapaah has joined hands to inspect our water bodies across the country to get firsthand information about the waters bodies, how clean and dirty they are in the country because of illegal miners.
According to the information minister, Hon Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, the various goverment Officials mentioned has been out in touring the country for firsthand information on the status of various Government's projects and activities in the country.
The minister stated on his social media wall that the three ministers have started preparing to help stop galamsey across the country as people are spoiling the water bodies.
According to him, they have started from central region with a long message sent to Ghanaians below;

Today, my brother the Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Hon. Samuel Abu Jinapor and I joined Minister for Water and Sanitation, Hon Cecilia Abena Dapaah on an inspection tour of the country’s water bodies as government steps up efforts to protect our water resources from the effects of galamsey.
Day 1 of our tour took us to the Sekyere Hemang water treatment plant which supplies water to large parts of the Central Region before heading to examine the Daboase water treatment plant that supplies water to parts of the Western and Central Region.
It's a collective responsibility. Each playing an honest part, we will win.
