After suffering his first loss on the hands of former Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane, Stuart Baxter is looking to rebuild the fallen Amakhosi ship in which he has signed a few top quality players. Siya Crew Sources have told KickOff.com reporters that the Brit is also looking to balance the books when it comes to wages of some of the highest paid players at the club. News coming out of Naturena is that Baxter has told Chiefs board that in oder for the club to save money, they have to let go of some of the aging players In their squad before next season start.

” Like I said before, there will be players that will leave before the new season begins. Already Sphelele Ntshangase left, Moleko announced that he will leave too. But there will be more departures. The coach and management already signed new players who will be joining us as we prepare for the next campaign. Yes we have an aging squad and some of the players have been here for quite sometime. Others are still waiting for their new contracts to be renewed but that’s up to the management and their representatives to sort out. If coach Stuart Baxter wants some of the players to remain or leave so the budget can be better, then it’s up to him and the board to decide. He has been here before and I think he will make a great decision for both the club and players,” media officer Vina Maphosa told KickOff.com Sources.

” No less than four first team players will be shown the door before the start of the season. There’s already a growing talks about who will be leaving. Plans for the new campaign already underway and the coach Stuart Baxter has been talking with the management about those who will leave. The likes of Ramahle Mphahlele, Bernard Parker and Willard Katsande have been mentioned too,” Ernst Makhanya told KickOff.com reporters.

As the CAF Champions League final is done, there won’t be any need to keep the likes of Katsande or Parker as rebuilding should be their first priority. They have fresh new players coming and will be playing every week. As for Samir Nurkovic, he is reported to be interested in moving in the Middle East or Egypt if his transfer fee is met. Who do you think Chiefs should part ways with? Let me know what you think.
