"Hatukupei kura bure, tunakukopesha na lazima tukupee masharti," Aisha told DP Ruto.
Among the demands the vocal legislator made was that the DP will have to ensure he accomplish the economic development of the region as outlined in their economic blueprint which they presented to the DP today,Saturday.
"Once this economic blueprint ambayo ni kiungo muhimu ya uchumi kwa watu wa Pwani, ambayo imegusha kila sector imekufikia, malipo yako ni kwamba lazima utekeleze masharti haya na kama hutaweza hatutakukopesha tena," Aisha said.
The Malindi MP who was a close ally to ODM leader Raila Odinga before changing gears to Ruto's camp, also informed Ruto of a secret to retaining the region's voters which has for so long supported ODM leader Raila Odinga. She told Ruto that achieving his manifestos as well as the economic demands made to him by the region today, was the top secret in retaining votes come 2027 general election. She also revealed that it was the coast leaders who looked for Ruto to make the demands, adding that they will no longer be told what will be achieved for them.
"Sisi ndio tulikutafuta na tukakuambia safari hii hutatuambia, tunakuambia na tunakusubiri pamoja. Hawa economic strategists wameongeà kuanzia Alhamisi hadi leo. Acha nikuibie siri, the only way to get our votes in 2027 is to ensure you fulfil your manifestos and this economic blueprint ya watu wapwani ama hatutakupigia kura tena," fearless Jumwa told Ruto.
