It is always good to prove wrong those that have written you off for one reason or the other.
That is exactly what Fikayo Tomori has been doing since he was shipped out on loan from Chelsea to AC Milan by Frank Lampard.
On Sunday night in Turin against Juventus, Tomori did not only play his role as a defender but he went a step further; scoring one of the goals in that 3-0 win in Turin.
Once again, Tomori put into proper use his pace to close down the opponents. He then crowned his performance in defence with a great header, leaping high on Calhanoglu’s free-kick and securing the win.
As it is often the case, there is this extra special feeling that comes with any good thing we do for the first time.
For football players, one of the things they keep track of is their goals and so it was only normal to see Fikayo celebrating is maiden AC Milan goal
He wrote: First goal for AC Milan in a very important victory. LETS GO!! All praise to God
