The Acting Municipal Chief Executive for Nandom in Upper West Region of Ghana, Mr. Thadeus Arkong Aasoglenang has released the 21-Year development plan for the Municipal District.
The Plan focuses on expanding the horizon of revenue mobilization for the Municipality in order to equip the assembly with ready flow of capital to initiate projects thar would create employment.
The plan also seeks to open more avenues for Job creation by wooing investors into the municipality to establish business.
As part of the over two decade plan which started in 2018 and is expected to extend to 2039, the an is also to ensure that it ensures accessibility to education making available educational resources and structures to spearhead the provision of quality education in the Region.
The plan according to the Municipal Chief Executive will also touch on Health care delivery and strategies the Assembly will put in place to ensure access to healthcare delivery is ensured and also provision of Infrastructure to bridge the gap in that regard.
Nandom Municipal Assembly was elevated from District in 2019 to Municipality after is was established as district in 2012.
