Super Eagles star tops Lewandowski, Benzema, Kane as top scorer in Europe's top 5 Leagues since March


Nigeria Super Eagles striker Simy Nwankwo has extended his goal scoring form to seven in a row, for Serse Cosmi led Crotone football club of Italy on Saturday evening, after netting another goal in his team's narrow defeat to Udinese Calcio football club.

The 2018 FIFA world cup star was able to impress again, as he netted to take his total goals of the season to 17 in the Italian serie A this season.

Coach Serse Cosmi gave the Nigerian international another starting role, and he was impressive, as he scored another goal.

A brace from Rodrigo De Paul were enough to give the away team the deserved victory, despite the fact that Simy Nwankwo netted a goal for the home team, to end the match 2-1.

With Simy Nwankwo's goal it means he has now scored in his last seven matches for Crotone football club in the Italian serie A.

The Nigerian international has scored the total number of 10 goals since March 2021, three goals ahead of Real Madrid star Karim Benzema, Robert Lewandowski, and Harry Kane, in Europe top 5 leagues.
