Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will be a busy man in the summer transfer window, as he would be trying to shape up his side to get the best out of it come next season.
Mikel Arteta has largely used two defensive midfielders in the middle of the park with 4-2-3-1 or 3-4-3 as his most preferred formation. But the Spanish tactician has always stated they he can only get the best out of Arsenal he needs the right players to deploy a 4-3-3 formation.
With rumours going around, Arsenal have been linked with couple of players, including Inter Milan right back Hakimi, who could be a potential replacement of Hector Bellerin, who seems to be on his way out of the club at the end of the season. Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has also been linked with a move to the Emirates stadium after his contract is over at the Etihad Stadium. Aguero might be the answer to Arsenal's goals problem next season.
With Arteta planning yo retain Martin Odegaard beyond this season, we could see Arsenal finally using the preferred 4-3-3 formation next season as Partey may be the only holding midfielder, as Martin Odegaard may partner with Smith Rowe upfront.
