Music artists joining political campaign trails is not new in Kenya. Their musical songs at times do help turn some voters to vote for a specific candidate.

Now Kevin Mbuvi Kioko, popularly known as Bahati has joined the United Democratic Alliance campaign trail. This is to drum up support for John Njuguna Wanjiku the UDA candidate.

He is seen singing his gospel songs in a UDA rally that was drumming support for its candidate. This may prove a good move by UDA in clinching the seat that fell vacant after the death of its holder Paul Njuguna.

This comes as a big boost to Wanjiku as the campaign enters its home stretch as the vote is set for the 15th of this month.

His gospel song of Wanani has now been turned to Wanjiku and this lighted up the crowd who joined up to sing with him.
