Here below is an analysis of five matches that will be played on Sunday, the 28th of February 2020.
15:00 Leicester vs Arsenal
Leicester City were subjected to a European shock after Slavia downed them 2-0 in midweek, but can now concentrate on the EPL race for second place and that will start with an attempt of a league double over Arsenal. Arsenal beat Benfica 3-2 in mid-week, but their five-game EPL is severely lacking (W1, D1, L3). They have lost the last two PL road trips and have conceded before HT in four straight domestic away games. They now boast of an in-form captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
My prediction: over 1.5 match goals
17:00 Tottenham vs Burnley
Despite a 4-0 midweek victory in the UEL, pressure is on Tottenham Hotspur who have lost five of their previous six PL games (W1). They face Burnley who are doing a good job of steering away from the relegation zone after no loss across their previous four PL matches (W1,D3), but have picked up just 12 points on the road this season.
My prediction: Tottenham will win
19:30 Chelsea vs Manchester United
After an impressive UCL win against Atletico Madrid Chelsea switch their attention to EPL. Chelsea haven't conceded in 300 minutes of competitive action at Stamford Bridge.
They however, invite a Manchester United side that has scored 53 goals in 25 league matches and have managed to score 3+ goals in three of their previous four PL matches.
My prediction: over 2.5 goals
22:45 AS Roma vs AC Milan
Roma remain firmly in contention to finish in the top four of the Serie A. They are still the only SA side to remain unbeaten at home (W9, D3). Roma often get the job done early at the Stadio Olimpico, as they were leading here at HT in a league-high nine matches.
After three losses within their last five SA matches, AC Milan find themselves slipping from the title race.
My prediction: over 0.5 goals before HT
23:00 Villarreal vs Atletico Madrid
In normal circumstances, a match against league leaders would be a daunting prospect, but Villarreal welcome an Atletico Madrid side that's showing weaknesses and that's won just one of their last four La Liga fixtures (W1, D2, L1).This match could be end-to-end, given that 83% of Villarreal's home fixtures have witnessed both teams score and Atletico have conceded in five straight La Liga road trips.
My prediction: over 1.5 goals
