As reported by K24 TV Kenya, politicians seeking to vie for elective positions in next year’s General Election have until December 9 to participate in harambees, the electoral commission has said. Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) chairman Wafula Chebukati warned that any candidate who violates the directive risk being disqualified from taking part in the elections.
