A good news from Comoros country in west Africa, as they have been qualified for the first time in African Cup Of Nation (AFCON).
The Comoros is a volcanic archipelago off Africa’s east coast, in the warm Indian Ocean waters of the Mozambique Channel. The nation state’s largest island, Grande Comore (Ngazidja) is ringed by beaches and old lava from active Mt. Karthala volcano. Around the port and medina in the capital, Moroni, are carved doors and a white colonnaded mosque, the Ancienne Mosquée du Vendredi, recalling the islands’ Arab heritage.
As far as football is concern, it has been a history for Comoros to qualify to play AFCON for the first time and is a good news for Comoros as country. The decision that FIFA made in order increase teams to be qualified for the AFCON which 24 teams now, has also give a chance for Comoros to be part of the African Cub of nation tournament.
Comoros team will be on fire to play well to show their stand in football. They will show the world how good they are in terms of football.
