FSV Mainz 2-3 Borussia Monchengladbach, Opel Arena Stadium 

Lars Stindl opened the scoring for the Foals. Jean-Philippe Mateta levelled matters for the host. Jean-Philippe Mateta completed his brace and also levelled matters for the 05ers. Three goals were scored on the first half. Jonas Hofmann levelled matters for the host through the penalty spot. Matthias Ginter netted a winner for Foals. Two goals were scored on the second half. 


Bayern Munich 5-0 Eintracht Frankfurt, Allianz Arena Stadium 

Robert Lewandowski opened the scoring for the Bavarians. Robert Lewandowski increased the lead for the host. Two goals were scored on the first half. Robert Lewandowski completed his hat-trick and also extended the lead for the Bavarians. Leroy Sane further extended the lead for the host. Jamal Musiala ended the show for the Bavarians. Three goals were scored on the second half.


Borussia Dortmund 3-0 FC Schalke 04, Signal Iduna Park Stadium 

Manuel Akanji, Erling Haland and Mats Hummels netted for the BVB on the second half.
