Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Vice president Doris Petra has taken to social media to express her agony over enforced self-isolation over the Corona-virus fears in the country and the world at large.

Petra was among the Harambee Starlets contingent that jetted back into the country just over a week ago from Instabul Turkey where the team has gone to participate in the Turkish Women’s Cup tournament which Starlets finished in third position.

Upon their return, Starlets players and team officials checked into Mbagathi hospital for tests and were advised to self-quarantine for 14 days to avoid spreading the virus just in case any of them had contracted the deadly disease in Turkey or during the transit.

Petra, a seasoned football administrator is among those on self-quarantine and has taken to social media to express the agony of being isolated. She went on thank those who have reached out to her as she awaits the quarantine period to elapse.

“This quarantine is necessary but it's killing me before the virus. I thank all those who have called or sent SMS to check on me. I don't take it for granted. Am praying for all my friends, relatives and enemies,” she posted on her Facebook account.

“May God protect us all. May God give long life to the entertainment industry you make life at such times worthwhile. To my true friends be blessed more,” continued the post.
