Deputy President William Ruto was met with a hostile crowd during a roadside rally in Kangari, Kigumo, Murang'a County.

This is after he attended a church service in the region, when he drew a large throng that greeted him warmly.

However, during his speech, the audience began to boo when he revealed what he and the Jubilee administration had accomplished in Murang'a County.

The DP was obliged to pause his speech when he ordered Kigumo locals to quiet down because some were busy raising a wheelbarrow over their heads while a man sat in it.

The crowd, on the other hand, continued to make more noise as the DP continued with his speech showing his track record.

Some residents of the region were spotted walking away from the meeting, while others were engaged in their own talk when the second in command addressed them.

When Ruto announces what he has done at most of his rallies, the crowd normally replies with Ruto's chant, but at Murang'a, the crowd seemed to not care and was making noise.

Despite the noise from the audience, the deputy president continued his address.
