Former Chelsea player, Eni Aluko has described Mendy’s omission from this year’s Ballon d’ Or 30-man shortlist as very odd.
The former player believes the Chelsea goalkeeper should have been included in the Ballon d’ Or 30-man nominees released recently.
It could be recalled that the 30-man shortlist for this year’s Ballon d’Or was announced some few days ago, with five Chelsea players included.
Cesar Azpilicueta, Romelu Lukaku, Mason Mount Jorginho and N’Golo Kante are in the list.
